American Involvement in Iraq and how it affects me:
American involvement in Iraq and the Middle East began after the September 11 attacks in 2001. I was only 6 and in first grade when the attacks happened and when the war in Iraq was going on. So, I was very young and did not understand what was happening.
Since the war in Iraq began, it has affected my life and a lot of U.S citizens' lives. The war has caused the economy to go down hill, and makes us live our lives different than we would if a war was not going on. There has been two presidents since the war started, which also affects our lives.
